Nov 19, 2020, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China released a notice of Guidance Document for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances (MEE Order No.12). We are very pleased to invited experts from MEE and Senior Chemical Regulatory Consultant from REACH24H to explain the latest regulation.

This session aims to give information to companies that do or do not have previous experience of registering chemicals under Regulation on China New Chemical Substance Registration. Ms. Ting Shen has more than 5 years working experience in product stewardship and regulatory compliance service for industrial chemicals in A-P region. Her experience in working with more than 30 global companies provides her with deep understanding of chemical regulation itself and solid advice on strategic plans to help companies comply with chemical registration work.

Lei Wang

Associate Researcher

Wang Lei is an associate researcher and the cadre of the Department of Solid Wastes and Chemicals of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China. She has been engaged in the research of chemical environmental risk evaluation and management skills, and participated in the preparation and modification of Measures for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances and supporting documents. She has hosted and participated in several national and provincial scientific research projects such as National Key Research and Development Program, National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program), and Special Project of Technology Development of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, and environmental and public welfare programs, and the preparation and modification of 6 national standards and ecological environment standards related to chemicals. Related achievements have been awarded the Environmental Protection Science and Technology Award and the Science and Technology Progress Award in Shanghai.
